In recent years there has been a huge increase in the online gaming industry. Of course one of the main reasons is for the pure entertainment but many people also get into online gaming for stress relief and to connect with others and meet new friends or even mates. Whatever your reason, do some research and you can find the games that are right for you.

Entertainment
There are so many websites for gaming and so many categories of games within these websites that a person looking for entertainment from online gaming has a lot to choose from. With some careful research one can find numerous sites that offer free online games. Personally I don’t believe that this should be the main thing to look for when searching out a game however. Many times spending a little money for a game will mean you have the right game for you and you usually a great value for your money. The latest technologies in gaming offer incredible sound, graphics and very cool backgrounds. Another great feature of games today are flash games. For people with busy schedules (which includes just about everyone these day) these games offer a great experience that can take only 5- 10 minutes of their time.

Stress Relief
With such an uncertain world and the stress of job, family and personal relationships people often play online games to relieve stress. A gamer can forget the worries of life for a while and get lost in the online world. This can actually lead to less health problems like mental breakdowns, but be careful, a lot of the people that turn to online games to relieve stress can become very addicted to the games. One of the ways to do this is to set aside a certain amount of time each day for gaming. I like to set aside 2 hours of computer time a day. Connect with Others
One of the biggest reasons for the rise in online gaming is to meet other gamers online. This could be just to chat and make friends or to meet people of the opposite sex. I have actually heard of people meeting their significant other in this manner. There are a lot of people who would rather meet someone online than go out and try to meet someone at a bar or other place. Also many people do not like all the hassle that comes with dating. Anyway it kind of makes sense to meet people online since you already have something major in common.

What Is Mysticism?

When we go on this journey, we think that we need to learn and understand a lot, that we need to understand what mysticism is. Yet, when we go into this mystical direction, the purpose is to release everything that stands in the way of receiving inner guidance and following that.

Once we start to give ourselves over to this guidance, we start to see that we were wrong about everything we thought we knew. That is what guidance is leading us to, to this happy realization of, I was wrong about all the painful judgments and beliefs about myself and everything else.

In this sense, a mystic can be described as someone who stays very relaxed in the realization of, I don’t know, and I am taken care of.

So What is Mysticism? We can say that mysticism is devotion to God. It is a single-pointed devotion to God. When you wake up in the morning, your sole a course in miracles purpose is to reach eternity. That is the only purpose there is! Now you may ask, “How?”

It is by allowing miracles to come through you that you become a miracle worker. You become consistently miracle-minded; you consistently come to your right mind—the present moment and escape hatch to eternity.

When you give your heart to God and say, “Here I am Lord,” it focuses your mind like a beam of light for God.

As we come closer to the mystical Heart of Christ, we come closer to the Heart of God. By laying aside all judgment, and allowing for this simple and serene state of mind, we go beyond this world. This is a state of mind that is above the battlefield and has accepted Christ within.

There are no more words to say, just a quiet listening to the song of Heaven.

Take No Thought for Tomorrow

In the Bible, Jesus tells us to take no thought for tomorrow; that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He emphasizes living in the present moment, in the eternal Now. He gives us the key to peace and eternal life. These are the Heralds of Eternity!

God is pure love, and God wants to reveal pure love in which everything is shared. “In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all your brothers is remembered with Him.” (T-15.VI.8) In the holy instant, we remember God. There is no concealment, and there are no private thoughts, no worries or concerns for the future, or regrets about the past. It is an experience of perfect peace. This is what Jesus is calling us into.

We are asked to let go of our ideas about time. We may have thought that something was missing in the past, and we took action to try and correct it a course in miracles, hoping for a better future. But Jesus is saying, “Don’t hope for a better future. The future is a trick! Now is all there is.”

And so we are now asking ourselves the question, what is it all about? What is the purpose for this world and for my relationships? What is the point of time and space? Jesus tells us that the present moment is the point. Our vocation of healing (of the mind) is the point.

How Practical Is This?

Jesus and the Holy Spirit have a plan for each and everyone of us. It is very precise, and it is individualized. In each moment, they instruct us where to go, what to do, and who to be with. They instruct us what books to read, what movies to watch, what to eat, and what not to eat. We receive instructions on how to get our daily bread, in terms of inspiration and also food, clothing, shelter. The Spirit is so practical. When we give our mind to living and experiencing the holy instant, the Holy Spirit provides everything we need in Earth terms.

When there are plans to be made, we will be told of them. “You need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only purpose that you would fulfill.” (T-20.IV.8) In lesson 135, he tells us:

“A healed mind does not plan. It carries out the plans that it receives through listening to wisdom that is not its own. It waits until it has been taught what should be done, and then proceeds to do it. It does not depend upon itself for anything except its adequacy to fulfill the plans assigned to it. It is secure in certainty that obstacles can not impede its progress to accomplishment of any goal that serves the greater plan established for the good of everyone.” (W-pI.135.11)

And in the next paragraph:

“A healed mind is relieved of the belief that it must plan, although it cannot know the outcome which is best, the means by which it is achieved, nor how to recognize the problem that the plan is made to solve. It must misuse the body in its plans until it recognizes this is so. But when it has accepted this as true, then is it healed, and lets the body go.” (W-pI.135.12)

If you devote yourself to the holy instant in a sincere way, you will begin to receive more and more clear guidance, that will guide you through the unwinding from the ego. When we devote our heart and our soul to miracles and the purpose of forgiveness, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will handle everything.

We can safely let go of thoughts and concerns about the future and the past. We can let go of the loop of time, and leap into an experience of indescribable happiness!
